■ It was Friday, 5 p.m., the start of the weekend. I went home, got the kids set, cooked dinner and started packing for the following day.
On Saturday morning, we loaded the kids in the Jeep, hooked up the trailer and headed out to our spot of choice. We set up our camp and began a bait-catching session. Family time is always great to have-no TV, no computer, no Xbox. We had fresh air, crystal-clear water and blue skies, and we had a few friends to help us enjoy our fishing adventure.
