Aloha Chuck,
It’s me again. I had the weekend (March 11) off, so I decided to sleep at the beach on the south shore. The tide was perfect for throw net in the evening and the next morning till noon, so I headed down to my favorite throw net spot with my MRE, water, clothes and, of course, my throw net in my back pack.
I arrived at the spot and observed the shoreline for about 10 minutes. I was excited to see 'ama'ama, kala, manini and maiko, all swimming and feeding not 30 feet from the sand! I marked my position and headed down to the water.
I unpacked my net, put on my glasses and boonie hat, set up for a throw, and started a slow and low…
