Bugs, Bugs, Bugs
■ It’s that time of year again! Late summer is a tough time for me, in a good way! The weather is still good, with an occasional hurricane to keep us on our toes. Fishing is still really good, too, with decent opportunities for ‘ahi, shibi, aku, kawakawa, uku and ulua. Papio are chasing ‘oama around on the flats, and there’s always the possibility of a couple of nice moi, now that the season is open again. Hunting season will open soon around the country, too, so there’s something else to think about. And then there’s the diving-some of the best of the year.
