The Expedition
■ Once a year, Kel Kado, who is employed by Hawaii Fuji Photo Film Inc. of O‘ahu, and Dale Takeguchi, a steel worker at Pearl Harbor, go to the Big Island to avenge the big boys called ulua. Their camp out usually lasts about 10 days. Last year, a county worker for the water department named Kenneth “Tabasco” Tsugawa joined the group and caught his largest ulua, a 40-pounder. This year, another fellow, Kurt Kmett, who is also employed by Hawaii Fuji Photo Film, tagged along and made a very successful debut.
