Yes, You Can Catch Tilapia
■ More than 350 children invaded the Capitol on November 6, and an equal number of parents were dose behind. The day was windy with a threat of rain, but, the reflecting pond was flat, and the tilapia were hungry and waiting. Governor Waihee caught the first fish.
The children were eager; some had arrived as early as 7 a.m. They stood in groups and discussed strategy, a lot like adults ready for a day of fishing. Orange Halloween bags, filled with Fritos, candy and bread for bait and provided courtesy of Times Supermarket, were everywhere. The children positioned themselves around the pool.
