DESIGNS FOR SURVIVAL
Marine animals show an amazing variety of adaptations in body design, behavior, and lifestyle for solving the problems of survival. In four lecture/laboratory sessions, participants in this course investigate the similarities and differences in survival designs of Hawaiian mollusks, crustaceans, echinoderms and fish. Carol Hopper of the Education Department guides study and discussion from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Registration fee: Adult (16 years and older), $25; FOWA members, $22.
