JANUARY DESIGNS FOR SURVIVAL COURSE
Marine animals show an amazing variety of adaptations in body design, behavior and lifestyle for solving the problems of survival. In four February lecture/laboratory sessions, beginning February 4, participants investigate the similarities and differences in survival designs of Hawaiian mollusks, crustaceans, echinoderms and fish. Carol Hopper of the Education Department guides study and discussion from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Registration fee: Adult (16 years and older), $25; FOWA members, $22.
