RECOMPRESSION CHAMBER
■ Scotty Bowman reported that the Interim Recompression Chamber, which is now being budgeted through the Department of Planning and Economic Development, received an appropriation from the legislature for 1982-83. The amount approved was $211,000 and is sub-divided in the amounts of $85,000 for staff support, $73,500 for start-up costs and $52,500 for operating costs.
The legislature will be kept apprised of the status quo and will be provided with progress reports. (There are many legislators, state officials, university officials, diving physicians and members of the diving community, including our own HCDC lobbyists Scotty Bowman and Frank Farm, Jr., who deserve our appreciation for the many hours of work involved in this project.
