Once again, the “energy crisis” has fishermen and boaters concerned. Well, actually, “concerned” isn’t really the right way of expressing it. “Scared to death” is more like it—the death of living without your favorite sport.
Many fishermen I’ve talked with are pondering whether to sell their boats and buy smaller, more economical models and others, who were contemplating buying newer boats, are wondering whether this is the right time to buy.
I’m neither a do-it-yourself psychic, nor a do-it-yourself economist for that matter, so you may take my thoughts on the matter for what they are worth: the tentative conclusions of an amateur prognosticator.
