We are living in exciting, new times where we do not analyse Friday box-office releases but engage in episodic dissections of an ongoing web series or confess how we can’t wait to watch what happens to our favourite character in the next season in family dining room conversations. The reason why we lapped up digital shows is known to all of us—because of its brave content, fresh take, and cutting-edge treatment. So, the fan in me couldn’t be more elated to shoot Brides Today’s Dec-Jan cover with Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Bani J, and Maanvi Gagroo, the female leads in Amazon Prime Video’s Prime original series Four More Shots Please!, produced in collaboration with Pritish Nandy Communication, revolving around the lives of four different women (played by our cover stars)…
Q: With the onset of autumn/winter, what are the top beauty trends for the season? We’re seeing many trends from natural and glowy makeup, to smoked out, smudgy eyes. We are also loving an imperfectly beautiful lived-in and slept-in look or a berry-flushed face in soft grape tones. Q: Should brides keep it subtle or go all out for their makeup on their big day? It definitely depends on the personality of the bride. My personal preference are beautiful mauve and blush tones on the eyes, and a natural glow on the lips and cheeks to accentuate one’s finest features. Q: What according to you is the importance of multi-use beauty products? What are the different ways a bride could use NudeStix’s products? Multi-use products are super-important considering that the…
Q: What location do you see when you envision your dream wedding? I would love to do it somewhere in the South of Paris. Q: What kind of décor do you think you’ll want? I see lots of white flowers and candles. Q: What kind of food and beverages would you have at your wedding? I don’t think I would do something heavy, and have probably a lot of healthy food. Q: When you think of the music and entertainment, what do you prefer? Just a good, fun band would be great. Q: What would you wear, in terms of jewellery and your outfit? I would probably go traditional and wear something delicate, not too heavy. And for jewellery, I would like something along the lines of pearls, classy and…
Q: If you had to plan a location for the ideal wedding, where would that be? In my opinion, the ideal winter wedding location would be somewhere in Switzerland, maybe Zurich or Geneva. Q: What kind of décor would the wedding have? I think the décor should be in warm tones of blue, grey, and silver. This could restore warmth and make the guests feel at home. Since most of the areas outside would be covered in snow, the location itself would add to the décor, making it look like a fairy-tale wedding. Q: What kind of clothes, accessories, and jewellery should the bride and groom wear? For the bride, I think a gown in grey and blue would match the mood perfectly, complementing the décor as well as the…

JEWELLERY TIP For an outdoor ceremony, adorn your ensemble with stacked bracelets and rings. Keep the necklace and earrings in complementing tones of the rest of the jewellery. JEWELLERY TIP You can never go wrong with complementing colours for your jewellery and dress. A structured ruby-studded choker can look great with a pink, princess-y gown for your bridal shower. JEWELLERY TIP If you choose to wear white at your bachelorette, jewel tones of rubies, emeralds, and sapphires can draw attention to and enhance your look. Don’t forget to adorn your hands with delicate rings, bracelets, and a haathphool. JEWELLERY TIP Fashion-forward brides can match the colour of their beauty look to the colour of their gemstone jewellery to make a bold statement. JEWELLERY TIP For a destination wedding, a structured…
