Life is wonderfully unpredictable, a fact we’ve all realised these last few months. However, in the car business, I’ve long since given up trying to predict what’s going to happen. For example, it’s often said August is a quiet month for car sales due to people being away on holiday, but I’ve never found this to be the case. Similarly, January is traditionally a slow month, but we had our busiest time of the year last January.
