The global pandemic is still ongoing, and continuing to disproportionately affect LGBTQ+ people. Transphobia has been rife in the British press and across the globe, leading to an increase in anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment. Trans lives are being used by a ruling class to divide and conquer, and it’s never been more clear that the trans community needs our support. We must keep that at the forefront of our minds as we step into the new year.
