When I was with Mercy’s Mark, Garry Jones and I were driving through Lexington, Kentucky, headed to Louisville for the Convention, the other guys in the group were driving up separately, so it was just Garry and I. We were driving a private coach without CDLs. That was always a gray area, and I had always told him, “If I ever get pulled over, I’m pulling the brake and getting in my bunk, and you can deal with it.”
So, I’m driving through Lexington. There was a lot of traffic, and you couldn’t really go fast. I look up in my mirror…and there are blue lights. I’m thinking, “He’s got to get around me or something.” I slowed down, the cop came up beside me, then pulled in behind me…
