There's no shortage of campsites in South Africa. With an estimated 700 of them – though some believe there could be as many as 1 000 – campers are spoilt for choice. However, not all of them are pet friendly. Given the frequent enquiries we receive about this, we decided to compile this guide to campsites where your furry friends are also welcome. We not only delved into our archives, but also made phone calls and scoured the worldwide web to gather information about places that welcome both you and your pets. Yet, this is just the tip of the iceberg, as it only represents half of the pet-friendly campsites in the country.
