Dear frankie, When I was pregnant with my first baby, I swore I would never let being a mum get in the way of living a creative life. I use my creativity for a living, but also see it as a large chunk of my identity. So, keeping it flowing was something I was determined to uphold. Alas, the nappy changes, breastfeeding, lack of sleep, constant cleaning, appointments, entertaining, play dates – aka, motherhood – quickly took over and it felt as though there was no room left for me. At a “baby sprinkle” brunch for my second baby, my beautiful, thoughtful friends gifted me a frankie subscription.
