A fleet of 67 teams were vying for a share of the impressive $199,702 prize pool to mark the culmination of the 25th season of the Pompano Beach Saltwater Circuit (PBSC). During the one-day Saltwater Showdown, the third leg of the series, teams targeted mahi, wahoo, blackfin tuna, cobia, and kingfish. Collectively, 179 fish were brought to the scales, amounting to an impressive 3,393.2 pounds. A maximum of 10 fish could be weighed in per boat. Each boat may weigh in a total of 4 fish per species (only 2 per cobia). Each fish must weigh a minimum of 10 pounds.
