THE BOAT
My boat is a vintage Ocean Kayak Prowler 15, and the necessities include a seat, PFD, paddle (and a spare), stake-out pole, whistle, and anchor. If you think you’ll be out after sunset or before sunrise you legally need a white light, visible from 360 degrees for at least a mile.
