Eleven young fruit and vegetable growers have been recognised for their commitment to sustainability and the wider industry in a leading awards showcase.
Co-hosted by leading vegetable and potato growers’ association AusVeg and International Fresh Produce Association Australia – New Zealand (IFPA), the Hort Connections event is the premiere event for the Australian horticulture industry.
A total of 11 growers, spread across five states, were named as finalists for the 2022 Corteva Agriscience Young Grower of the Year, with South Australian Damien Manno named as the overall winner during a gala dinner in Brisbane.
