US-based engine and generator manufacturer Kohler Co has signed a deal for its power group to acquire two companies to expand its electrification and clean energy reach.
Curtis Instruments, headquartered in Mount Kisco, New York and distributed in Australia through Beresfield, NSW-based Bylong Industries, provides a range of electrical control systems to OEMs across a broad range of markets including material handling, golf and recreational vehicles, mobile elevated work platforms, construction, agriculture, turfcare and select on-road segments.
Curtis’ product portfolio spans motor speed controllers, human-machine interfaces and instrumentation, power conversion, CAN modules and other accessories, as well as advanced software solutions. Curtis Instruments will operate as a standalone entity within the Kohler Power Group.
