Hello! My name is Miriah Hartfeld. I live and work with my husband, Jacob, and our six children: two daughters (Rachel, 18, and Everly, 2) and four sons (Thomas, 17; Aaron, 16; James, 14; and Isaac, 11). Roping, riding, and working cattle is a family affair.
During the month I wrote this diary, we moved from an Oregon ranch to the Richard Angus Ranch in North Dakota—a large outfit that runs cattle in the heart of the Badlands.
