As a siding contractor living in Minnesota, I learned how to dress for cold weather. On super-cold days, I would wear my LaCrosse boots that are rated for temps as low as minus 70 degrees F, or something preposterous like that. The boots did a great job of keeping my feet warm. The downside is size— they’re enormous, especially the size 13 monsters I wear.
