I’ve been making documentaries for more than 20 years and people often ask me why I tell the stories I tell. I think it comes back to background and family story. My last fall was in May last year. I had already achieved my dream of winning the Melbourne Cup and it was the worst injury I’ve had in terms of downtime. I’m often asked why women should try strength training. Why should we pick up weights, do push-ups or add plyometrics to our routines?
