IT’S important for children to know how to work with money from a young age so that they can make responsible financial decisions later in life. But when should you start talking to you kids about money matters – and how? AGE 5-10 At this age children become curious about money. Start small. Teach them the value of it. But an enterprising 10-year-old has invented a simple system to help kids who are struggling with the multiplication tables. YOU WILL NEED Scissors Craft knife Spirit level Measuring tape White board marker MATERIALS 1m vinyl (from Maizey Plastics) in three different colours. Our fridge was silver so we used black, white and charcoal, but if you have a white fridge you could replace the white with a light grey. For a double-door fridge you will need more vinyl. Some parents (antivaxers) are reluctant to vaccinate their children because they believe vaccines are dangerous thanks to a widespread myth that vaccination causes autism. This misconception comes from an article published in 1997 by British doctor Andrew Wakefield. Both he and his research have been discredited.
