It’s clear that the 19-year-old is a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court. Bulelani Mabudusha is, in fact, a rising star on both local and international courts.
Raised in Orchards, Pretoria, he comes from humble beginnings. But he also comes from a family that has a passion for basketball, a sport that’s not that popular in South Africa.
Bulelani’s father, Seragi (58), his mother, Vuyiswa (56), and his four siblings all had an eye for shooting hoops, rather than playing soccer or cricket.
Bulelani started playing basketball at the age of five, and was always keen to challenge his older brother, Matheo (27), at the hoop hanging outside their house.
