Dairy is more than just a bone-strengthening food—it’s a nutritional powerhouse that provides energy, supports blood glucose management, and may lower the risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, and some cancers. Yet only one in 10 Australians meet the recommended dairy intake.
Without dairy, key nutrients such as calcium, protein, iodine, and vitamin B12 may be at risk of deficiency, which can impact bone health, muscle function, metabolism, and nervous system health.
