Tablets now account for a little more than 8 per cent of visits to TradeTrucks.com.au and sister websites BusNews.com.au, Fullyloaded.com.au and OwnerDriver.com.au, new data reveals.
In the nine months to September 30, 2020, just 8.13 per cent of visits to the websites were via tablet, down from 11.66 per cent in the comparable period of 2019 and 12.62 per cent in the first three quarters of 2018.
Mobile, meanwhile, jumped from 52.52 per cent of visits in the period January 1–September 20, 2018, to 55.01 per cent in the corresponding period of this year.
Surprisingly, desktop sessions grew from 34.85 per cent of visits in 2018, to 35.59 per cent in 2019, and 36.85 per cent in 2020 – most likely as a direct result of in-market-buyers being more desk-bound…
