The Toyota Quantum has built a solid reputation as a reliable people carrier, a go-to for taxis across South Africa and, despite its size, rather adept at cutting in front of you during rush hour.
But that’s certainly not all. So when Bobby Nitro saw the latest creation coming from Moosa Jacobs of Kenwyn, he saw the opportunity to break the stereotype.
Moosa, previously known on the scene for his awesome bakkies, turned his hand to the Quantum some years ago, first featured with a dropped white van on these pages.
Moosa says: “It arrived at my shop without windows or seating. It looked hideous, but I spotted the potential.”
