If THERE is one name that is synonymous with the Cape sound-off scene, that name is Deafrow Audio. Great name that.
Zaid Watson, the man behind the brand, hosted the Bragging Rights sound-off two weeks ago, as he always does, and every year sees those decibels climb.
Planning started in February, with sponsors this year including Sound Beam Audio, recently launched in Ottery, who hosted the event.
With almost 90 cars through the lanes, Zaid says: “It was crazy, went on so late it was a two-day event.”
With no further ado, Randall “Randy D” Didloff from RD Alternators raised the bar at a whopping 161.03 dB in his Mk1 Golf, up from last year’s 156.7dB by Granger in his Team 0.25 station wagon.
