ARREST FOR DAD’S MURDER

A MAN has been arrested for allegedly gunning down an innocent dad from Manenberg as he went to buy food for his children. An intensive investigation by Manenberg detectives along with the Anti-Gang Unit led to the arrest of the 40-year-old man accused of killing dad Moegamat Sharief Solomons, 20, in a drive-by shooting. Sharief, an alarm technician and father of two girls, came under fire while walking in Ruimte Road shortly after 8pm on Friday. His uncle, Waleed Rajap, explained all he wanted to do was get food for his daughter when he was shot.
