KwaMbonambi residents have called on the government to fix the gravel road that the late Ambassador Nathi Mthethwa travelled on. The rural village, in the Umfolozi Local Municipality, outside Richards Bay in the north-east of KwaZulu-Natal is the birth and burial place of Mthethwa. He was laid to rest next to his father’s grave at a family home on Sunday after a Category 2 State funeral service at a local stadium.
