WESCOM Signal and Rescue, a global supplier of marine distress signals, urges businesses to order pyrotechnic products ahead of the expiry dates, following the updated guidance of certification of goods for seafarers released by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), in response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
The firm, which has been manufacturing pyrotechnics for more than 100 years, stresses the importance of forward planning for the ordering of pyrotechnics and other dated, mandated items, to mitigate any possible supply delays in the future.
