According to the International Multihull Boat Show, the market for cruising multihulls represents more than 1000 units produced each year around the world: 80 per cent yachts and 20% motorboats.
Global turnover = around Euro €450 million.
In the overall boating sector, multihulls are continuing to progress and have seen a significant leap in their market share.
France is the global leader, both in terms of turnover and the number of units produced: Lagoon (Bénéteau Group), Fountaine Pajot, Bavaria Nautitech, Catana, Outremer, Privilège Marine are the leaders in this sector.
