All swishy grasses and waving pockets of herbaceous perennials, Rhonda Watson’s Trentham garden in Central Victoria offers an immersive depth of wild natural beauty that belies its footprint and age. Rhonda, 70, moved from Geelong to Trentham in 2015, bringing her eco-focused retail business, The Green Store, with her and settling it into a shopfront just off the main street. She bought an empty quarter-acre block a short bike ride from her store and, in 2019, built a sustainable house on it.
