ON Thursday, May 17, COUNTRY LIFE readers are invited to an event in the great room (above) at Christie’s that will explore the exciting possibilities of creating legacies for future generations.
The panel, hosted by COUNTRY LIFE’s interiors editor, Giles Kime, will include leading experts in the world of antiques and design, such as Orlando Rock, chairman of Christie’s; the Parisian art dealer and collector, Marella Rossi; antique dealer Edward Hurst; and the architect and interior designer Ben Pentreath. After a champagne reception, guests will be welcomed by Paul Abberley, CEO of the evening’s sponsor, Charles Stanley, before panellists discuss the art of choosing furniture and artworks.
