PLUMS
Easy-to-care-for plum trees are a gift for any garden, giving beautiful blossom in spring, wonderful foliage in summer, and richly coloured, juicy fruit in September and October. Damsons, greengages, mirabelles and bullaces are all members of the plum family, varying in colour and flavour, from deep and tart to sweetly honeyed. Plant two, at least, so they can pollinate each other.
