Sarah Quinn was born and bred in Banbridge, County Down in Northern Ireland – an area that was once the heart of the Irish linen industry. I find endless inspiration in my everyday life, even when I’m in a place most people might not find very exciting – even trees on the side of the road are beautiful and inspiring to me! My fabric designs are all botanically based, so I love getting out of London and into the countryside – since I live in the city I feel my senses are heightened because of how special it is for me to be there and appreciating nature in its purest form.  Having lived in Milan then London, Giusy and Philip Buckingham were looking for a new house near to where they lived in London, when a weekend visit to friends in Kent inspired them to decide to move to the country. ‘We were seduced by the feeling of open space, the idea of living without being surrounded by houses, and we were also surprised at the number of beautiful homes in the area,’ says Giusy.
