“Oh, boy!” exclaims Yo. “Dinosaurs right in the middle of a museum! But Grandpa, where’s the dinosaurs’ skin?”
“Dinosaurs lived so long ago, only their fossil bones are left,” says Grandpa. “Scientists put them together to show us what dinosaurs looked like.”
“Maybe they were all different colors,” says Yo. “Maybe this one was pink.”

“No,” says Grandpa. “It’s a full-grown Compsognathus. Dinosaurs came in lots of shapes and sizes.”
“Meet—APATOSAURUS!” says Grandpa.
“Wow!” says Yo. “I bet this guy made the ground shake when he walked. If I saw him coming, I’d hide behind a tree.”
“Back then there were no people,” says Grandpa. “No one’s ever seen a live dinosaur.”
