VOLVOS AT WORK
Patrick W Dyer, who has had books published by others in the past, has decided to go it alone, and set up his own publishing company called, perhaps unsurprisingly, Patrick Dyer Books. His first solo effort continues a series of ‘at work’ books; in fact, it’s the tenth in the series, carries off where the last one (published in 2017) leaves off, and covers Volvo F10, F12 and F16 from 1983 to 1993; the previous volume covered the story from 1977 to 1983.
1983 was, of course, the year when the F10 family was given a major revamp, with cabs, chassis, suspension, engines, gearboxes and axles all revised. There was a further upgrade in 1987, when the F16 arrived.
