Bimota is back!
The legendary name of Bimota is back in action following Kawasaki buying a 49.9% stake in the Italian firm.
And, to show they mean business, Kawasaki and Bimota have already joined forces on the new, supercharged Bimota Tesi H2, which will be a 2020 year model. Historically, Bimota has been able to link-up with both Japanese and European manufacturers.
Formed in 1973, the name came from the three founders: Valerio Bianchi, Giuseppe Morri and Massimo Tamburini. BiMoTa, see? Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki motors have powered some of Bimota’s finest machines, while in the 1990s Ducati powered machines such as DB4, DB6 and the original hub-centre-steered Tesi.
