On May 18 1975, Knockhill Racing Circuit hosted its inaugural car race, marking a significant milestone in Scottish motorsport history. Now, half a century later, the circuit is set to commemorate this golden anniversary with a special event: ‘50 Years of Car Racing at Knockhill – Best of Scottish Car Racing,’ scheduled for the weekend of May 17-18.
Saturday’s action will include competitive racing from the Knockhill Motor Sports Club (KMSC) and the Scottish Motor Racing Club (SMRC). There will championship rounds across various categories, including Scottish Classics, Legends, Fiesta STs, Minis, C1s, ModSports, and Super Lap Scotland (SLS).
