The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC) has announced the appointment of the Sir Greg Knight as President. Sir Greg follows in the footsteps of Lord David Steel of Aikwood, who retired earlier this year after six years, and Lord Montagu of Beaulieu, who died in 2015.
Born in Leicestershire, Sir Greg has been a lifelong classic car fan, supporting many vehicle clubs and owning several Jensens, a Rover P5 Coupé, a Bristol, and a Cord. Indeed, he entered Parliament in 1983, arriving in style in his Jensen Interceptor MkIII. He founded the All-Party Parliamentary Historic Vehicles Group in 1994 and chaired it until he retired as an MP in 2024.
