The first WB & Sons sale of spring was packed with over 100 vehicles, ranging from Minis to historic commercial vehicles and even buses. But while the spread of entries was diverse, it was modern classics that really stood out on the day, and especially those of the Blue Oval variety.
Two boosted Fords were particularly notable, with a 1988 Escort RS Turbo Series 2 boasting just 60,000 miles on the odometer comfortably beating its £10,000-£14,000 estimate to sell for £20,625, only to be upstaged by a 1991 Ford Fiesta RS Turbo that sold for £26,486.
