Classic Car Auctions (CCA) return to Birmingham’s NEC for the Restoration Show on March 23 and 24, with sales on both days packed with enticing lots.
Fords have broken records at the NEC previously, and there are plenty in this sale. The sole Ford Capri Mk1 V8 conversion produced by Super Speed of Essex is fresh from a sympathetic restoration and boasts strong provenance, justifying a £30,000-£40,000 guide price. Two Mk3 Capris are also on offer, one a 1987 2.8i Injection Special with just 32,000 miles estimated at £20,000-£25,000, the other an ultra-rare 1984 Tickford Turbo, which is guided at £45,000-£50,000 and presents extremely well following an engine fire and subsequent restoration.
