For this week’s blast from the past, we’re visiting Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in 1964, when The Promenade was busy with shoppers and traffic. As you’d expect, there was no shortage of easily recognisable British-built models on view, including (heading away from the camera), a Ford Zephyr Mk3 and an Anglia 105E, while parked at the kerbside is an example of the ubiquitous Morris Minor 1000.
Heading towards us, we can see a Riley 1.5 and an Austin A40 Mk1, but the older car between them is a bit of a mystery, as a chunk of its front end (including its grille) is missing.
