THERE’S A NEW player in town in the Indian diagnostics sector. Amazon India, in partnership with Orange Health Labs, has launched Amazon Diagnostics, a move that adds new competition in a market currently led by Dr. Lal PathLabs, Metropolis Healthcare, and Agilus Diagnostics.
The service is currently available across six cities—Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, and Hyderabad—covering more than 450 PIN codes. Customers can choose from over 800 diagnostic tests, book home sample collection within 60 minutes, and access digital reports through the Amazon app, with some routine results delivered in as little as six hours.
