Windy City makes headway in boating A new destination for superyachts has opened in Chicago, at the historic Navy Pier. A long time in the making, the Navy Pier Marina is developer and boater Randy Podolsky’s passion project. After its grand opening in June, the marina’s first guest was the 78-foot Lazzara Latitude. However, yachts up to 183 feet in length can tie to its floating piers for day trips or overnight stays.
