A few years ago I was in Hvar, waiting at the quay for a friend who had just arrived on his catamaran. I was in my tender, and I had two global tennis stars with me, Croatian Iva Majoli and her American friend Jennifer Capriati, who were staying on my yacht.
As we were sitting around in the tender waiting for our guest, a guy came out of the harbor office and said, “You can’t stay there.” I told him we’d be two minutes, but he still said no. In the end, I said, “Come on, give me a break,” and walked off. He was being unreasonable, and I wasn’t in anyone’s way.
