The superyacht industry has rallied to help the Bahamian islands devasted by Hurricane Dorian. When the hurricane finally moved north after several agonizing days, superyachts set sail for the island nation to help. Among the first to respond to a call for action by YachtAid Global, CBS Bahamas, Sol Relief, World Hope International and NEMA were Loon , Turquoise, Hospitality, Perla and Laurel . The yachts and their crews transported aid to some of the most affected areas in the northern Bahamas. The 155ft Christensen superyacht Loon made the nine-hour trip north from Nassau to Marsh Harbour in the Abaco Islands, which took the brunt of the Category 5 storm.
