For better or worse, we human beings are drawn to new things like moths to a flame. It pertains to most parts of life but not, fortunately, to the martial arts, a place where tradition continues to reign supreme. Interestingly, within the arts there exists one domain where older is not better: film fights.
Try as we might, it’s really tough to get into those fight scenes we loved as kids, the ones that made movies from the 1960s, ’70s, ’80s and ’90s (depending on when you started paying attention) so enjoyable and, in many cases, inspirational.
