That’s it then. See ya laterz, my American pal. After nearly 16k miles, the Ford S-Max has left the TopGear garage. Unfortunately, I must confess that I’m not too disappointed. It’s not that this car is rubbish in any way. (In fact, it’s a bloody good car, and a brilliant, practical family wagon that ticks all the boxes that Ford set out to achieve with a car like this.) It’s more of a case of “It’s not you, it’s me.” Somehow, I just didn’t gel with this car and often found it… well, dull.…
